Here we have a complete Toploader shifter assembly as removed from a 1973 Mustang 4 speed 351 Cobra jet car. This unit was the shifter Ford offered for 351 Cleveland, 351 Cobra Jet, Boss 351, and 429 Cobra Jet. This assembly includes everything to return your car to original equipment, right down to the part numbers even on the shifter mounting plate. It has the complete original assembly with boot, a nice chrome handle, plus the original Shift Ball.

 Unlike other Hurst shifters, this unit is designed slightly different - it has a distinguishing look which true car enthusiasts will recognize when it's displayed at car shows. This unit, a Hurst Competition Plus, has no signs of excessive wear or play, and is ready to install, although we do suggest lubrication. A clean original part for that Mustang owner who is returning their car back to the way Ford made it! Not many of these out there, Good Bidding!

We reconditioned this setup which has no welds, modifications, cracks and now is completely ready to install. You get everything pictured with all original parts numbers pictured, you will find this original setup to be exactly what you are in need of to replace the aftermarket or incomplete shifter. For the driven or weekend show car we feel will be satisfied although below the shifter boot the lower handle area needs some cosmetic paint attention for show cars survivors could use the assembly its ready to install.

Shipping

Shipping is processed when payment is received. We usually ship via UPS. You must specify at auction close, which you prefer or it will be defaulted to UPS. Tracking number can be provided if requested.

Shipment usually takes 3 - 5 days from payment unless delayed. Delays are based on the order in which the payments are processed, complete information, touch ups (if necessary) and any special packaging needs. Occasionally shipments may be delayed due to car shows, or previous commitments. We strive to process your shipments as quickly as possible and will do everything possible to get your item to you as soon as we can.

United States Postal Service carries an additional $25.00 charge for package drop off at nearest station.

Sellers are not responsible for service transit time. Transit times are provided by the carrier, exclude weekends and holidays. Delivery times may vary with package origin, destination, size and weight particularly during peak periods.
