This is a clever wooden sculpture/pen holder by J. V. Orel. The dog sits on his haunches with his front legs on the desktop between his rear legs. There is a hole in his back to hold a pen. With the pen in the hole, it looks like the dog's tail.
J. V. Orel has created a look on the dog's face that is both fierce and cute. The legs are all pegged and can be pulled out of the dog's body and can be moved around some.
