This stunning piece of art by James Bradbury is an original painting on porcelain. Beautifully crafted with a nature theme, it features an underwater scene that will captivate any viewer. Measuring 8.5 inches in diameter and the painting in the centre measuring approximately 5.5 inches, this piece is a single unit of sale that comes signed by the artist. I have only found one other piece of this gentleman’s work that was also painted on porcelain that sold at Bonhams in 2013 for £2500. The plate has suffered a crack that has gone through the porcelain and some rubbing to the gold , it however does not detract from the painting. I am starting this at £49.99 as i think it’s worth that for the painting alone and based on the previous item sold he is desirable as an artist. Unsure of the origin of the plate, imagine its a blank James acquired to paint.

Created between 1880-1900 which I believe is the years James Bradbury was active in Worcester, United Kingdom, this art nouveau painting is an excellent addition to any collection. The production technique used was paint on porcelain, making it a unique piece that is handmade. The item is in good condition and is perfect for art lovers who want to add something extraordinary to their collection.
