LUXURY DRESSING GOWN/ROBE

This is a beautiful full-length vintage dressing gown/robe by Christian Dior.
In ivory, it is made from a super-smooth, slick and slinky satin with beautiful Dior lace trims. (The fabric is a blend of nylon/acetate/poly - well-known to vintage connoisseurs as Satin Remarque!)
The robe is an edge-to-edge design, featuring a plunging neckline with stylish lapels overlaid with exquisite ivory lace. It is high-waisted with a fitted bust and drawstring rouleau tie encased in ecru lace. The same trim appears on the cuffs of the three-quarter length sleeves.
There's a handy pocket concealed in one side seam and the robe flares gracefully down to the hem, deliciously soft and slinky to wear!
Size notes: the robe is labelled Petite, probably best for 30-34"-ish bust if fastened (though it will fit a little larger worn open!) and draping beautifully to fit your frame. The high waist is adjustable and the length is 54" from shoulder to hem.
The robe is in excellent condition, with crisp, original Christian Dior labels inside, and has been laundered for freshness. There is a very fine pulled thread near the front edge but it's hard to see and really doesn't spoil it - see photo. Otherwise the robe looks brand new.
A rare thing: this is a luxury dressing gown that is also comfortable and practical to wear. It looks wonderful on - stylish, feminine and unmistakably Dior! Highly recommended.
