This is a rare and valuable first edition book titled "Legend of Wandering Jew" published by Addey and Co in London in 1857.

The book is a huge folio with all 12 full plate illustrations by Gustave Dore. It is a poetry book authored by Pierre Dupont and George W Thornbury. The book is bound in cloth and is an original 1857 complete first edition.

The book is in very nice condition overall. There is some minor plate foxing as shown which attests to age. The spine has been neatly reinforced with black tape which makes the book binding  stable. There is a tear to title  page as shown but overall a very fine example of scarce book.
