1939 Press Photo Sketches of Robert G. Campbell, Seattle Extortion Suspect
Seattle: This sketch led to the arrest of Robert G. Campbell who later confessed, police say, that he forced Mrs. Anna G. Grimison, steamboat firm head, and her son, Harry, to write a $500 check under threat of death. Harry was then forced to cash the check and deliver the money, it was charged. Harry made the sketch from memory, and through comparison with photos of seamen on file here, Campbell was held. Photo measures 6 x 8 inches. Photo Is dated 1939.
