Amazing Spider-Man #30, VFN- 7.5, Nov 1965

Very tight structure cents copy from an original US owner collection, glossy cover and Off White to White pages, cream/off white inside covers. A great square cut eye appeal so all of ‘Pop Art’ can be seen top left. There is just that one teeny chip at the top which prevents a VFN grade. Amazing how well this comic has survived.

This is the 1st time that Spider-Man battles The Cat and J. Jonah Jameson offers a reward to stop this villainous burglar. There is a tremendous last panel that shows how Spider-Man is an unstoppable obstacle in the romance between Peter Parker and Betty Brant. Brillliantly conceived by Steve Ditko.

A great period as this title really gets into its stride under Stan Lee scripts and Steve Ditko art.
