LALIQUE FOR NINA RICCI PERFUME BOTTLE
Presenting a delightful vintage perfume bottle produced by the renowned French crystal maker Lalique for Nina Ricci.
This beautifully designed and masterfully crafted perfume bottle features a wonderfully elegant frosted opalescent dove captured in graceful flight. The sleek, streamlined bird appears to the top of the stopper its sweeping lines adding a wonderfully dynamic sense of movement to the exquisite design.
The clear, polished bottle is beautifully patterned with ribbing which stylishly twists around the bulbous shaped form. The ribbed design acts like a lens, spectacularly magnifying and distorting the light to create striking optical effects. The contrasting combination of frosted satin opalescent and clear crystal is exceptionally attractive.
SIZE: This superb piece stands approx 90mms tall including the stopper. The dove has a wing span of 50mms and the bottle itself stands 60mms tall and measures 45mms in diameter.
CONDITION: This delightful perfume bottle is presented in good vintage condition with just one small shallow nibble to the front of one of the birds wing and a chip to the rim of the bottle noticeable only on close examination. Despite these minor flaws this delightful perfume bottle presents beautifully.
MARKS: This piece is beautifully marked to the base with an acid etched mark reading "Nina Ricci Bottle made by Lalique France".
