CHINESE GINGER JAR AND RICE BOWL

Desirable matching twosome consists of a Chinese porcelain ginger jar and a 5" diameter rice bowl.

The surface decoration of each is a similar matching colour although each is different in design and they are not a pair. 

These are typical 'PROC' pieces and the base marks identify them as being manufactured in China in the 1950s ('Jiangxi Jinqdezhen Ming 1 Ci').

Pictures 1-9 show details of the ginger jar and 10-13 details of the rice bowl.  The condition of each item is excellent with just two minor edge nibbles on the inside of the ginger jar lid (see pic. 7 & 8).
