This is an all brass miner's safety lamp from E Thomas & Williams and sold by Nauticalia. It stands about 10" tall, (not counting the hook on top). It has a glass globe and about a 1/2" wick. The name plate says "E Thomas & Williams Ltd. Aberdare Wales" it has the word "Cambrian", and a serial number 203123. This one looks very new, and like it has only been used for display, (no sign of ever having been fired). The manufacturing date stamped on the side is 1989. It has the original booklet with the history of this type of lamp along with instructions.
