This is a wonderful Antique 4 Gal. Stoneware Crock Fancy Cobalt Blue Decoration Design. I do not know a specific potter.

I have looked this over and do not see any cracks or chips. . I have not tried to clean it.

This 4-Gallon Stoneware crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, circa 1860, skillfully-thrown, large-sized jug with straight body and decorated with a brushed cobalt plant design bearing blossoms. The firing of this has given the top rim a rippled effect.

Outstanding form. I’m cleaning house from my personal collection so follow me for similar items. H 13".
