This listing is for a watercolor painting of the Russian Novodevich Monastery in winter, with Smolensky church & the bell towers visible in the background. This Signed vintage Original Watercolor Painting measures roughly 12x8.5. Unfortunately I have not been able to find much of anything about this artist, or really decipher the signature which I assume is in Russian. It is dated 1999, and comes with a label describing what the painting depicts- I believe it may be a translation of the text painted on the painting in a neat illuminated font style. The design is excellent for many rooms and a large variety of decor styles. The buildings this piece depicts are not only historically important, they are beautiful on their own. It makes this an excellent staple piece for your collection, one your friends definitely won’t have! A great collectors item, for use display gifting or decor.

It is in very good condition, with no major damage. I have not removed it from the frame at all.
