*This is a working SONY LCD Hi8/8 video camera, CCD-TRV80. HI8/8mm tape playback works well and is ideal for dubbing. I was able to take night shots at night.


*The camera body is an old used item, but it is in relatively good condition with few scratches or stains. The LCD surface has deteriorated slightly due to long-term storage, but the image is displayed beautifully.


*Although it is an old used item, playback and shooting worked normally. I think it can still be used for dubbing Hi8 and 8mm video tapes.


*To check the operation, I connected the DC cord from the AC adapter to the camera like a battery, turned on the power, and was able to insert and remove tapes, play, fast forward, and rewind.


*I charged the battery, set it, put in my tape, and was able to zoom and focus on the LCD, and I was able to take beautiful pictures for a short time.


*The 6th photo shows a beautiful night shot.


*The photo on the camera's LCD is the playback image and shooting image of my 8mm tape, but both the image and audio were displayed beautifully.


*Playback is OK, so it seems like it can still be used to convert old Hi8/ or 8mm tapes that hold fond memories into DVDs, or to edit or dub them.


*It comes with an 8mm tape (recorded for about 10 minutes) for operation check, so you can check the playback operation as soon as the camera arrives.


*Although it has been confirmed to work, it is a used item, so please make your decision by looking at the product description and photos before purchasing.
