Gorgeous silver plated sugar sifting spoon measures 5 and 3/8 inches long. Marked "Silva Potter Sheffield," dates from 1884-1893.

Silva was a trademark of Potter Sheffield, founded by John Henry Potter in 1884. After 1893, the company used the name Rockingham Works, and after 1922 became J.P. Potter & Sons. The company ceased production altogether in 1940.
