Edwardian Embroidered White Cotton Batiste Bobbin Lace Camisole Corset Cover

This antique Edwardian era embroidered white cotton batiste bobbin lace camisole corset cover dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer white cotton batiste fabric with raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work and Valenciennes bobbin lace trim inserts. This lovely lace lingerie corset cover camisole top has woven white silk ribbon adjustable drawstring lace shoulder straps, neckline and waist, an open front and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 16 inches long, with a 36 inch chest and 26 inch waist. It is in good condition, with a few frayed breaks on the lace trim and two tiny mended repairs on the front top, one on the side (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of underpinnings lingerie wearable art!
