This unique and elegant pendant of a polished Black Coral Chunk & Bead and a Natural Pearl was handmade by Artisan Tristina Dietz of Dietz Jewels. The exotic Florida Black Coral chunk is 1 1/8 inches wide x 3/8 inches tall. The small coral bead is 1/2 inch wide. The pearl is approximately 6 mm diameter.
You can choose a silver plated snake chain necklace for this pendant in 16 inch, 18 inch or 24 inch lengths with a 2 inch extender.
The black coral pieces are created from gorgonian coral that washes up on the beaches of Florida and is sourced while picking up trash as we walk along the shore! We cut, sand, form and polish these pieces to a beautiful luster. 🌊 The color of Florida black coral ranges from deep black to light brown and each is truly a one-of-a-kind piece.
Note that black coral pieces should not be immersed in water or steamed as direct heat or prolonged exposure to water can damage the coral surface or cause it to change shape. Even though these are sea gems, think of them and treat as you would a fine wood. Clean the piece by wiping gently with a damp cloth.
