Ca.1892 Heeren Bros. & Co. Pittsburg, Pa. Jewelers, Token, Rulau Gay Nineties Pit-4, But It Appears To Be Struck In Hard Rubber (Or Similar Material) And Uniface, Rather Than the Bronze As Usually Found.  In addition, the workman and his work area are expertly gilded or painted, by one of their most talented jewelers.  It's apparent that the medal was custom made for an important person in the company, likely one of a kind.  That's why it is not listed or known by Rulau.  Hard rubber (or similar material), struck on one side only, 45 mm in diameter, and in mint condition with some smoothing marks on the reverse.  An Extraordinary, rare, and unusual medal.
