Garfield Phone, Vintage 1981 by Tyco. With Original Box & Manual

The only thing that is not working on this phone is the ability to make outgoing calls. It can receive incoming calls and the ringer is working well but when you press buttons to make an outgoing call nothing happens, no beeps or pulse sounds. This is likely an issue with the keypad although I cannot 100% confirm that. Aside from the outgoing call issue, there is some visible usage and aging wear including scuffing and scratches. Garfield’s stripes are slightly scratched/worn away in some spots. The phone cord is slightly kinked in spots and shows usage and aging wear in certain areas as can be seen in the photos, mainly photo 24. The box also has some storage and aging wear. Garfield’s eyes do open when the receiver is lifted and they close when it is put back down as can be seen in photos 5 and 6. Overall this is a very cool piece that includes an awesome looking, original box. It would make a great addition to any Garfield and/or telephone collection. Please examine all photos.
