THIS LISTING IS FOR A WONDERFUL ANTIQUE HAND CARVED WOODEN RELIGIOUS ARTIFACT DEPICTING THE VIRGIN MARY.

WE BELIEVE THE FIGURE TO BE 19TH CENTURY, HOWEVER, IT COULD BE MUCH OLDER. WE ARE NOT EXPERTS ON THIS TYPE ANTIQUE.

THIS ATTRACTIVE CARVING IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION WITH PAINT LOSS AS EXPECTED, PRIMARILY ON THE FACE AND THERE ARE A COUPLE OF STRESS CRACKS IN AND AROUND THE HANDS (SEE PHOTOS).

MEASURES 14 1/4" HIGH AND 4 3/8" WIDE AND IS ATTACHED TO A 3 1/4" X 6" WOODEN BASE.
