Fine antique 1853 engraved print, very nicely printed and produced. This is an antique 1853 print and not a reprint or reproduction. The top view is The Metre Room in the Philadelphia Gas Works, Winter the King, and Spring the Poet, and bottom is A View of the Patent Office Building, Washington City, District of Columbia. Text is titled The Patent Office at Washington, and Winter and Spring. Print has a slight tear at lower left hand side, neatly repaired on verso with archival tape. The size of the print is 11" by 15" and is in excellent conditon. Rare. Winning bidder pays $3.25 shipping domestic, more foreign.
