Try AMETECH ENGINE RESTORE OIL in yr PEUGEOT 605 607 806 engine - 2 x 400ml cans

This listing is for two 400ml cans of Ametech RESTORE Engine Restorer & lubricant - sufficient to treat two 2 litre engines or one 3-4 litre engine. Here are a couple of the testimonials received over the years from our customers who have used Engine Restorer in their Peugeots:

Peugeot 309TD, 130,000 miles - Hi, just to let you know that I have total belief in your engine restore. After my first purchase a few weeks ago I have noticed a significant difference even after the first couple of hundred miles with my Peugeot 309 TD. I flushed with your engine flush, changed my filter and put mineral oil in my engine with two 250mls of engine restore. There is no smoke, easy starts and smooth running. It now drives like it has a few thousand miles on the clock instead of 130,000! I have just purchased some more for my friend's car and shall continue to do so for mine. Thanks for a great product! Keith - 1 October 2007

Peugeot Boxer 1.9 Diesel minibus, 158,000 miles - Hi Ros, It's some time now since I got my Restore. Many thanks. I have finished my trial - all I can say is "Fantastic". I was a Doubting Thomas and thought I'd seen it all before over the years, sticking with a couple of favourites which I still use.
I've been heavily involved in the taxi business for 18 years and do look after my cars and buses. However I bought a Peugeot Boxer 1.9 Diesel minibus a few months ago in Rochester, below London. I drove it back up to N.Yorks overnight. It went through a bit of fuel and wasn't exactly 'full of beans' for its 158K. Although reasonably healthy all considered, I felt it had not had a lot of love or regular oil changes (my opinion), so I thought I need a bit of work from this bus so I will give it the 'full Monty'. I gave it a double dose of flush, beyond the required time, and a good dose of injector cleaner, changed the oil and filter, then gave it a good thrashing to Manchester Airport, some 90 miles. It was definitely better, but a bit gutless. I know its a 1.9 non-turbo, but it could be better.
Coming back loaded I was being 'undertaken' by artics on the steep hill over the Pennines, which was a bit embarrassing. However, on my return, I drained the oil, renewed it and popped in my Restore, thinking "Here goes", not really expecting a result, but Wow, what a change! It got better mile on mile. I quickly covered 300 miles. It got smoother, quieter - more response, better drivability. It wasn't struggling as much, so I was very pleased with that. Thinking it's as good as it gets, but no, it just got better and better. I have now covered probably 2K miles and it's 100% better - idles smooth, economy is a respectful 36.43 mpg, cannot expect more from a minibus. It's perky - more torque - drives nicely - not a flying machine, but does what I need now. It sounds and feels altogether newer. So I'm pleased I discovered your product.
My final test: I went back to Manchester Airport on a lot less fuel, a bit faster. Coming back to the big, slow hill I mentioned before, known locally as Ainly Top, I thought "Bring it on!". M62, no trucks 'undertaking' this time, Oh no! It flew up in 2nd lane, passing all the trucks and I even passed a few in the 3rd lane. So, great, it worked for me and I'm sold, will continue to use. Very satisfied - you have nothing to lose!
Many thanks, Lee Taylor, Leeds. (Lee says he is happy to be contacted for his views). (Lee wins a copy of Great British Classic Cars [issue 1, Sports Car Special, available exclusively from WH Smith] for his testimonial). 23 September 2008

AMETECH ENGINE RESTORE OIL - Engine Restorer & Lubricant

WHAT IS AMETECH ENGINE RESTORE? Every vehicle's engine wears out as a result of friction at the approximate rate of 1/1000 inch per 10,000 miles during normal operation. Drag Racing can wear out an engine in one run down the track. Friction causes wear of the cylinder walls which leads to compression loss. Lost compression results in your engine having less power --- it runs poorly and has sluggish acceleration. It also can cause increased oil burning, exhaust smoking, and poor fuel economy. RESTORE - Ametech Engine Restorer and Lubricant is a unique ENGINE additive that repairs those worn-out areas in the cylinder walls and bearings, thereby restoring cylinder compression and improving engine performance to nearly new original condition.

Ametech Engine RESTORE is the only product that contains the proprietary CSL remetallizing formula. This technologically advanced formulation fills in and seals micro-leaks in the cylinder walls. The result is increased engine compression and more engine power. Independent lab tests prove that Ametech Engine RESTORE really works to increase cylinder compression.

If you have a DIESEL LOCOMOTIVE or CATERPILLAR BULLDOZER or BIG FISHING BOAT contact us as you probably need several litres of Restore - call us for special pricing! Makes a great gift that will save money over the next year due to improved mpg. Buy now with confidence!

If your engine has FLEDGLING Big End Knock which is a heavy tapping from the bottom of the engine, that goes away when the engine is warm (slightly worn main bearings or con rod bearings), due to low oil causing premature bottom end wear, Restore can probably fix it, or your money back providing you involve us, and your local mechanic at every step of the way (have your mechanic call us on his mobile so we can hear the engine noise, before and after the RESTORE treatment, so we can confirm what the problem is, and if RESTORE has a chance to fix it). NOTE: If the shell bearings are so worn that they have rotated on the crankshaft and the engine sounds like a hammer on a steel plate at all engine speeds, then RESTORE will NOT be able to fix it and the sump and con rod end caps and shell bearings will have to be removed to see how much scratching and damage there is on the crankshaft journals. If the crankshaft journals are scratched it will have to come out for regrinding during a complete engine rebuild. However trying RESTORE makes good sense for under £16.00 particularly with the money back guarantee through your mechanic. If the engine is too far gone, then depending on the age of the vehicle, a good take-out engine swap will probably be the cheapest and best solution for an older vehicle that has good body work (no rust). Call us in any case to discuss  (ask for technical dept)

For 25 years AMETECH ENGINE RESTORE - REMETALLISING OIL has been the only product that can restore compression to internal combustion engines (even MAZDA RX-7 and NSU Ro-80 Wankel style rotary engines!). RESTORE is for all 4 cycle Diesel and Petrol engines, yes even railroad locomotives and fishing boat diesels. This proprietary metal treatment lubricant was originally developed for NASA to work in the vacuum of outer space. Now this terrestrial version RESTORES and rebuilds any 4cycle engine from the inside out, within about 500 miles, using CSL(tm) - colloidal molecular sized COPPER, SILVER and ENCAPSULATED LEAD particles (=CSL) carried in a high grade (ASTM) engine oil. These 3 metals are supposed to be in your engine but get worn away by normal friction.

RESTORE works with all petroleum based engine oils, apart from those containing plant esters like the exotic racing oils and Magnatec.  Now YOU can buy this revolutionary engine oil and improve piston ring compression and engine performance during 500 miles of normal driving. Drive HARDER, and RESTORE will work FASTER (unless your engine has a serious problem like fledgling bottom end knock in which case the engine should be treated gently, of course), and give BETTER results: e.g. RACING - THIS ONE REALLY WORKS. It is an ENGINE additive, not an oil additive. AMETECH ENGINE RESTORE works on the engine metal, not on the oil. AMETECH ENGINE RESTORE was put in a Porsche(tm) at Le Mans and the last lap was timed at the same lapsed time as the first lap. (Without RESTORE, race cars gradually get slower over time due to friction build up and increased wear and loss of compression. ENGINE RESTORE fixes this problem.) More than 120 million cans sold in the USA and Canada since 1983. This one really works.

BUY IT NOW.  A basic engine overhaul costs over £2000.... A basic set of gaskets and o-rings for a Mazda RX-7 costs over £350.... RESTORE is under £20 for a 250ml can.

Quentin Willson, Britain's foremost motoring writer, TV presenter and Sunday Mirror columnist said "It's the only engine additive I have found to work"

(Sunday Mirror, 8th January 2006)

ENGINE RESTORER - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS ENGINE RESTORER AND WHY SHOULD I USE IT? Every vehicle's engine wears out as a result of friction during normal operation. This friction causes wear of the cylinder walls, which leads to compression loss.  Lost compression results in your engine having less power - it runs poorly and has sluggish acceleration.  It also can cause increased oil burning, exhaust smoking, and poor fuel economy.  RESTORE Engine Restorer and Lubricant is a unique engine additive that repairs those worn-out areas in the cylinder wall thereby restoring cylinder compression and improving engine performance to nearly new original condition.

HOW DOES ENGINE RESTORER WORK? RESTORE is the only product that contains the proprietary CSL (copper, silver, lead micro-spheres) formula. This technologically advanced formulation has unique properties that actually fill in and seal micro-leaks in the cylinder wall. The result is increased engine compression and more engine power.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING ENGINE RESTORER?  By using 10% RESTORE as an initial (curative) treatment & 5% RESTORE on a regular basis at every oil change, you will keep the compression ratio of all cylinders at near original levels. You will feel the difference when you drive, your vehicle will have more power, sharper acceleration and it will run more smoothly because the compression is balanced across all cylinders. In addition, if your engine has blow-by, is burning oil, producing blue smoke or is excessively noisy because of engine wear, RESTORE will reduce and improve this situation.

IS ENGINE RESTORER GOOD FOR MY ENGINE? Yes, RESTORE is an extreme pressure lubricant in its own right, but it also compensates for engine wear.

IS ENGINE RESTORER COMPATIBLE WITH SYNTHETIC OIL? Yes, RESTORE may be used with any type of mineral, semi-synthetic or synthetic motor oil such as those available on any supermarket shelf. For BEST results though, we recommend against using RESTORE with oils containing plant esters, e.g. Castrol Magnatec, Silkolene R, Motul, Redline or oils describing themselves as Racing or Motorsports oils. Ester oils contain positively charged molecules that stick to metal surfaces to enhance lubrication, but they can work against RESTORE, slowing the repair process down considerably. RESTORE is best used in a standard motor oil of the specification and grade recommended for your engine. Once RESTORE has worked its 'magic' you can go back to your preferred friction-reducing package at the next oil change interval if you wish.

CAN ENGINE RESTORER BE USED WITH OTHER OIL ADDITIVES? We advise against using RESTORE Engine Restorer together with additives that modify the viscosity of the engine oil (oil thickeners or stabilisers), 'Stop Smoke' products (oil thickeners containing resins), friction reducers (chlorinated paraffins such as Prolong or Activ8) or other oil additives containing particulate materials (e.g. Slick 50 (PTFE), Molyslip, Xado  or Ceramizer). If you have used other additives in the engine recently it is advisable to flush the engine or to carry out an extra oil change before adding RESTORE. 'Stop Leak' products, which rejuvenate rubber seals to prevent leaks, are generally compatible with RESTORE Engine Restorer.

CAN ENGINE RESTORER BE USED IN DIESEL ENGINES? Yes, RESTORE can be used in diesel engines with either direct injection or common rail fuel injection systems, with the exception of HEUI engines (see Engines that cannot use Restore below).

CAN I USE RESTORE IN A MULTI-FUEL VEHICLE? Yes, RESTORE can be used beneficially in a multi-fuel engine (not 2 stroke petroil).

CAN I USE ENGINE RESTORER IN FUEL INJECTION ENGINES? Yes, RESTORE is equally effective in a fuel injection engine.

CAN ENGINE RESTORER BE USED IN VVT or VTec ENGINES? RESTORE is safe to use in most VVT & VTec engines (EXCEPT VVT-Li, iVTec or BMW Vanos engines - see 'What other engines cannot use Restore?' below) providing that those engines do not utilise high pressure engine oil to actuate or regulate the VVT functions. All VVT and VTec units rely on clean oil of the correct spec to provide adequate lubrication and  to function correctly and engine sensors are programmed to detect changes in oil viscosity that might suggest dirt, metal debris or contaminants in the oil that could clog oil-ways, contaminate solenoids and cause valve timing to malfunction. If you want to use RESTORE in a VVT engine, clean the engine well beforehand using a proprietary flushing oil before refilling with fresh oil of the correct specification and fitting a new OEM oil filter. If you are unsure whether your engine uses high pressure engine oil to actuate the VVT, call your main dealer for verification before adding RESTORE or call our technical helpline.

CAN I USE RESTORE IN MAZDA ROTARY ENGINES? Yes, RESTORE is equally effective in Wankel rotary engines such as those fitted in Mazda RX7s and RX8s. One 400ml can is all that is needed to improve compression-related hot starting problems. Simply add to the engine oil.

CAN ENGINE RESTORER BE USED IN VEHICLES WITH TURBOCHARGERS OR CATALYTIC CONVERTERS? Yes, RESTORE is safe to use in vehicles with turbo-chargers or catalytic converters.

CAN ENGINE RESTORER BE USED IN LAWNMOWERS AND TRACTOR ENGINES? Yes, RESTORE can be used as long as the engines are 4 stroke engines. When adding RESTORE to small engines such as lawnmowers, add 10% RESTORE by volume when changing the oil. Be careful not to overfill the crankcase since you'll need to add less motor oil to compensate for adding RESTORE.

CAN ENGINE RESTORER BE USED IN 2 STROKE ENGINES WHERE OIL IS MIXED WITH PETROL? No, RESTORE is not formulated for use in 2 stroke engines using a petroil mix, but it can be introduced down the spark-plug hole with the piston half-way down the bore.  (Please refer to the attached Instructions to 2 Stroke and 4 Stroke and wet clutch users).

WHAT OTHER ENGINES CANNOT USE RESTORE? Engine Restorer should not be used in any engine using engine oil as a hydraulic fluid, pumping it at high pressure to regulate or actuate other engine functions. The HEUI diesel engine is one of these. Although rare in the UK, HEUI engines are found in Ford Power Stroke and Navistar engines, some International and Caterpillar brand truck engines and some Isuzu Troopers (4JX1 engines). A HEUI engine is a high efficiency diesel engine where the injectors operate off engine oil pumped at high pressure – DO NOT USE RESTORE IN THIS ENGINE. A HEUI engine has two oil filters. If you are in any doubt as to whether yours is a HEUI engine, please ask your dealer before using RESTORE or call our technical helpline.

Some high spec VVTi engines such as Toyota VVTL-I (lift intelligent) engines, BMW VANOS engines, Subaru AVCS, Honda iVTec, Fiat MultiAir, GM Active Fuel Management engines (fitted in some Chevrolet trucks but rare in the UK) and others, use very high pressure engine oil to regulate camshaft positioning and valve timings. These engines rely heavily on clean oil of the correct viscosity as specified in the vehicle handbook. Degraded, dirty engine oil containing sludge and swarf engine metal can cause the oil viscosity to go outside a narrow range programmed into the ECM; sensors detect the change in viscosity and trigger an engine management code, engine light and cause the engine to run erratically. For this reason, we do not recommend adding RESTORE to the engine oil in any engine utilizing high pressure oil to regulate or actuate other engine functions. Please call our technical helpline for further information on how to treat these engines.

WHEN SHOULD ENGINE RESTORER BE ADDED TO THE ENGINE OIL? For best results, RESTORE should be added when changing the oil & filter.  For even better results, flush the engine with a mild flushing agent (automatic transmission fluid is ideal), fit a cheap oil filter to catch all the sludge and then change the oil and filter again, this time using a quality filter, the recommended oil and adding RESTORE.  To avoid overfilling, make sure to reduce the amount of oil that you would normally add by about a pint (500 ml), add RESTORE and then top up using the dipstick to get a correct oil level.  After 1000 miles or 20 hours driving RESTORE will have done its job and you can either leave it in the oil until the next oil change, or if you wish you can change the oil a third time and then add in your normal friction-reducing package.

DO I NEED TO FLUSH MY ENGINE (4 STROKE ENGINES PETROL AND DIESEL)?  Yes. Engines build up sludge over time from the by-products of combustion mixed with old burnt oil. Engine Restorer contains mild detergents to keep the engine clean and corrosion free during and after treatment, but in a neglected engine the cleaners might release sludge allowing it to circulate and possibly block an oil-way. Sludge in your engine can only do harm. If your engine has been poorly maintained, cleaning it with a mild flushing agent (or ideally, automatic transmission fluid) will dissolve varnishes and gums and release all this sludge which will get caught in the oil filter. Change the filter before using RESTORE.  Badly neglected engines may need flushing twice or multiple oil changes to be sure of ridding the engine of free-floating contaminants. Make sure you change the oil filter each time too to catch the sludge released.  We do not recommend back-flushing using power flushing equipment.   The RESTORE CSL® particles will adhere more firmly to clean metal giving longer lasting results.  It is possible to add RESTORE as a top up to recently changed oil in a well maintained engine with a minimal amount of sludge providing you fit a new oil filter to catch any sludge released by the detergents. If the filter gets blocked by released sludge you will see a flickering red oil light. Change the filter as often as needed to keep pace with the sludge until the light stops flickering.

HOW MUCH ENGINE RESTORER SHOULD I USE? The recommended measure is approximately 250 ml of RESTORE for every litre of engine capacity, e.g.  a 1000cc engine (small car) needs 1 x 250ml can; a 2000cc engine (family saloon or Land Rover) needs 2 x 250ml cans; a 4000cc engine (large car or truck) needs 4 x 250ml cans or a one litre can.  However, after the initial application of RESTORE at this recommended level, a 5% volume of RESTORE in your engine at each oil change should be sufficient to keep your engine running smoothly and protected against future wear.

HOW LONG DOES ENGINE RESTORER LAST? By the time you’ve done 1000 miles with RESTORE in the engine, the wear reversal process should be completed.  Sometimes it takes a little longer and sometimes results are seen very quickly indeed; each engine responds differently, but certainly RESTORE will have done all it can do within 3000 miles or by the next oil change.  Any unused RESTORE CSL particles will keep on circulating round the engine filling scratched and worn surfaces where they occur until the next oil change.  Generally speaking, the benefits last for about 12,000 miles, but this will depend on driving style and use. It is recommended to add 5% RESTORE by volume to engine oil once a year, or if you prefer at each oil change, to keep the wear under control.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM USE OF RESTORE ENGINE RESTORER IN MY WORN ENGINE? Within a thousand miles of engine use and without having to disassemble the engine, you should experience a dramatic increase in ease of starting, power and torque, improved fuel consumption, reduced oil burn and lower smoke levels.

WHY HASN’T RESTORE FIXED MY ENGINE PROBLEM? RESTORE Engine Restorer puts metal back into scratches cut into friction-producing metal-on-metal surfaces in the engine. It uses the reciprocating and rotating actions of friction-producing components to grind the spherical CSL particles into the scratches as they pass between. If your engine problem has not improved within 1000 miles of use, then wear in the metal is unlikely to be the cause of your engine problem. If there is still a noise, smoke or compression problem then have your mechanic look for something broken: cracked piston, broken rings, burnt valves, worn guides and seals, blocked PCV or stuck EGR etc. or call us for advice.

PLEASE NOTE as miraculous as its properties may seem, RESTORE cannot repair broken parts or fix mechanical faults. Problems such as cracked cylinder heads, extremely worn bearings, glazed bores, loosened or broken components, such as faulty timing belt tensioners, will not see any benefit from the use of RESTORE.  A cracked piston ring will eventually break whether or not you use RESTORE.  If you are buying RESTORE to repair a problematic engine please ask your mechanic for a diagnosis of the fault before you commence treatment so that your expectations for RESTORE are not unrealistic.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Ametech RESTORE  Engine Restorer & Lubricant

This amazing repair oil can be used in any rotating or  reciprocating metal-on-metal friction and wear environment  where mineral or synthetic oil is being used. It can be used  with any fuelling system: diesel, petrol, LPG, Mazda Rotary,  NSU Rotary, and any 'common rail' injection system.  It MUST NOT however, be used in HEUI (high pressure  oil activated) diesel fuel systems. HEUI could be any high  efficiency diesel engine where the injectors operate on high  pressure engine oil - if you are not sure whether this  applies to your engine/vehicle, please consult your dealer.

Dos and Don'ts

DO: Start with a clean engine, fresh oil  and  new OEM filter. For best result, flush the engine prior  to  doing the oil change and adding RESTORE.

DO: Use the can at room temperature and shake  it  really well to agitate the particles before adding to  your  engine. Check the empty can before discarding it to  make  sure than none of the valuable CSL particles are left in  the  can

DO: Use a grade of motor oil recommended for  your  engine in conjunction with RESTORE. Don't switch to a  thicker grade like a 20W50 - this will just impede the  RESTORE process.

DO: Run the engine as much as possible after  adding  RESTORE. It takes around 1000 miles or 20 hours of  engine  use for RESTORE to complete the wear reversal process  in  your engine, so do be patient.

DO: Follow the instructions carefully, especially  if  you are treating 2 strokes*, vehicles with wet clutches*  or  applying RESTORE through spark plug, glow plug or  injector  holes*.

DO: Obtain a mechanic's diagnosis for your  engine  problem before you start treatment to ensure that your  expectations are realistic. RESTORE fills wear in  metal  surfaces - it won't mend broken or bent parts, burnt  valve  seats, glazed bores, holed pistons, broken rings,  blown  gaskets, blocked hoses or pressure relief valves etc.

DO: Check that RESTORE is the right treatment  for  your engine problem. See our guide. Call us if in  doubt.

DON'T: Use RESTORE with  vegetable  based oils, castor oil or ester oils, such as sports  or  racing formulas (Silkolene 'R' etc.) Ester  oils  work by imparting a positive charge to both metal  surfaces  to reduce friction, but this just slows RESTORE down,  making  it harder for the CSL particles to adhere to the worn  metal.  If using oils containing a proportion of esters, like  Castrol Magnatec, allow extra time for RESTORE to  work.

DON'T: Use RESTORE with other friction-reducing  additives such as Slick 50, Prolong, Activ8, Motorup,  STP  and Wynn’s friction-reducers, PTFE, Teflon, Chlorine,  Molyslip etc.

DON'T: Overfill the engine. Always make sure  you  allow for the addition of the quantity of RESTORE you  are  using within the total oil allowance for your  engine.

DON'T: Use a lot more than the recommended dosage  for  your engine. A little more won't hurt, but a lot more  could  do harm. You can always add more RESTORE later if you  need  to.

DON'T: Use RESTORE in automatic  transmissions, limited slip differentials, wet clutch  situations*, engines requiring a petroil mix*, power  steering fluid, brake fluid, fuel tanks.
*Please  contact  us for instructions for dealing with engine wear in  motorbikes with wet clutches and 2 stroke engines  requiring  a petroil mix.

DON'T:Use RESTORE in HEUI diesel engines, Ford Powerstroke,  Navistar,  International, Caterpillar, Isuzu Trooper 3.0 DTI [1998 & on]), VVTL- I  or BMW Vanos engines or any other engines using high pressure oil as a  hydraulic  actuator . HEUI (Hydraulically actuated Electronic Unit Injection) is a  high  efficiency diesel engine where the injectors operate off engine oil pumped  at  high pressure – if you are in any doubt as to  whether  yours is a HEUI engine or has a VVT system actuated by engine  oil  pressure, please ask your dealer before using  RESTORE

USE OF ENGINE RESTORER IN MOTORCYCLES
If your  motorcycle has a 4 stroke engine and separate oil  reservoirs  for the engine and gearbox (i.e. a mechanical clutch)  then  you can use RESTORE Engine Restorer & Lubricant in  the conventional manner by adding it directly to the  engine  oil in the sump. However, if your bike has a wet  clutch, i.e. the engine and gearbox share the same oil,  you  should NOT add RESTORE to the engine oil, because it  would go through the clutch and make the clutch pack  slip.

If you have a wear-related engine problem in a bike  with  a wet clutch and would like to give RESTORE a try  before going down the road to a mechanical repair,  please  contact us. There are different methods of  applying Engine Restorer, depending on the type of  problem  you are trying to cure, but we should still be able to  help.

To:         Owners of 2 Stroke Scooter and 4 stroke bikes with wet clutch (Honda)

 and Ametech ENGINE RESTORE

From:       Technical Department, Ametech

YES you can even use RESTORE in Honda motorbike engines, with the following instructions and precautions:

1. You can treat any engine (2stroke or 4stroke) by adding a +/- teaspoon of RESTORE into each spark plug hole (or injector hole on diesels), and gently turning the engine over until the RESTORE has worked it's way down around the rings, then replace spark plugs (or injectors) and fire it up.....this works on all engines.......this repairs scratches in the cylinder bores and so improves compression and reduces blue smoke.....and improves mpg and power.

2. You can also treat any 4stroke (petrol or diesel ) by adding RESTORE [at the rate of one 250ml RESTORE can per 1000cc of engine capacity] to the engine oil (mineral or synthetic but not vegetable racing oil like Castor R). THERE IS AN EXCEPTION: some 4stroke motorbikes (ie Hondas) have a wet clutch with engine oil running through it - in this case you can safely treat as per para.1 above, or, we have now discovered you can introduce 1/2 can of RESTORE into the engine oil just prior to an oil change and run the bike in your back yard for an couple of hours (as long as possible without annoying the neighbours) reving occasionally ALL WITHOUT OPERATING THE CLUTCH. Then drain the old oil that has the remaining RESTORE in it and of course refill with fresh correct motorbike oil. Then when you ride away there is no RESTORE left to circulate and make the clutch slip. All the RESTORE has been absorbed and adsorbed into the crank bearings, big end and small end bearings, cylinder walls and piston rings by splash.  However the engine has indeed been RESTORED so you will notice more power, less smoke and better mpg.....

3. If you have worn valve guides we recommend removing the rocker cover (also called valve cover) and pouring a few drops of RESTORE directly onto each valve stem (through the spring) and cam wear surface. An old kitchen syringe works well (don't use it for anything else afterwards of course). This normally takes care of valve problems.

4. You can treat any 2stroke that has a separate oil resevoir by pouring in 1/2 can directly into the oil resevoir and topping up with normal quality 2T oil. The RESTORE will be splashed inside the engine and repair main and crank bearings and cylinder bores and rings. The engine will become very powerful as the RESTORE is absorbed and burnished into the wear points,  and results are lower blue smoke and better mpg of course. This should be treated as a one time repair on a scooter (i.e.once a year treatment). Please note RESTORE should never be put into petrol, or 2stroke petroil mix, as it may block the carb or injectors and we certainly don't want it combusting into the atmosphere as it contains copper silver lead = CSL.....

5. You can treat a manual gearbox or conventional differential, each with a teaspoon of RESTORE and get rid of the whine (NOT automatics or limited slip diffs, please as the clutch packs will slip).
