Offered for sale is an antique Waltham (USA) hunting-case pocket watch, probably ca. early 1900s.  This is a 3/0-size watch, and measures approximately 1-5/16" (33mm) diameter (one of the photos shows the watch next to a quarter and a dime for size comparison).  This watch features a solid 14k gold hunting case with a very fancy floral design combined with an intricate basket weave pattern on both the front and back.  On the back side is a highly detailed engraving of a bird in flight.  The watch also features a 7-jewel stem-wind stem-set movement, and a white porcelain dial with Roman numerals.  The entire watch weighs  32.4grams (1.05ozt).  The case is in excellent condition, showing very little evidence of pocket carry.  There is a monogram lightly engraved in the shield on the front side.  The movement is in good running order.  The dial is in excellent condition, with no visible cracks or chips.  Overall, a very presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.  If you are in the market for a fine gold American hunting case pocket watch, they do not come much cleaner than this one.  You can own this high quality, fancy, American-made antique gold pocket watch, for $799.99/obo.  If you have questions about this watch or about my watch and clock repair services, please feel free to contact me.
