Restores the colour to faded and worn leather.
Scratch Doctor's Leather Colour Restorer is an easy to use solution for restoring colour to faded and worn leather. The restorer is simply rubbed into the leather with a soft cloth (supplied). Restorer soaks into the leather restoring the colour.
DESCRIPTION:
This product renovates the colour of both new and old leather. It works great at re-colouring areas that have been faded by sunlight of direct heat. The recolouring balm absorbs 100% into the leather and is permanent.
INSTRUCTIONS:
First ensure the leather is clean. Apply Colour Restorer with a clean cloth (supplied) in a circular motion to ensure penetration. This is enough to completely restore the colour.
Take a clean cloth and buff the surface of the leather, ensuring there is no excess left on the leather.
SUITABILITY:
The restorer needs to soak into your leather – to test this, put a tiny drop of water onto the damaged area and see if it soaks in. If the leather isn’t absorbent, you will need one of our Leather Touch Up Kits (for small areas) or a Leather Recolourant Kits (for larger areas)
Leather Colouring Restorer can be used on all leather parts, including seats, bolsters, arm rests, steering wheels, gators etc..

To test this, put a tiny drop of water onto the leather and see if it soaks in. If the water immediately soaks in, the leather is absorbent. If the water sits on top or rolls off the leather, then it is non absorbent & you will require a different product. See below for which product to use for non-absorbent leather.
