This listing is for a lovely vintage "Elgin" American Sterling Silver jeweled Cigarette Case.
The silver body has an elegant ribbed design with cartoche in corner with monogram "HWH" and sapphire cabochon jeweled clasp. When opened, the interior reveals a shiny gilded engine turned design on the inner walls and hinged arm. Marked "Sterling" and number "2756644" on interior. The hinge is tight and compact opens and closes correctly.
The entire compact is in excellent condition with no noted flaws and only shows minor wear on the back from normal use.
Measures 3" high and 2 1/8" wide. Weighs 68 grams.
