Coiled basketry plaque with feather designs made by Second Mesa Hopi basketmaker Daisy Dennis.

This is a new basket and features a yellow body with black, white and green feather prayer stick designs. It measures 6 3/4" in diameter plus the hanging loop. It was obtained directly from Second Mesa, Arizona. Small baskets like this one were often made to be given as gifts by Kachina dancers during dances.
