Three Dreams For Solo Tenor Recorder was written as I improvised on my
tenor recorder. Such a lovely plaintive sounding instrument, yet the
tenor recorder does not often play solo. This piece fills a need for
tenor recorder literature, and so far it has been received rather well.
If you play tenor recorder, I think you will like it. It will require
some practice, as it is not really simple, but if you are at least
intermediate in ability, you can play it. Pastorale Dream has a lilting
quality to it. Desert Dream imitates the native American flute sound,
and Dream of the Mountain evokes the sound of the Appalachian
Scotch-Irish folk whistle sound, complete with the feeling of a yodel -
though it is not humorous - just sounds folk-like. These pieces come bound
together in a booklet with hard stock cover, and would make a great 6 minute recital piece.
This piece sells for $5.95 with $3.50 shipping. You may combine items
