Wonderful early large brass medallion wall hanging. Appears to have a hand hammered copper look as well. From the Dinanderie Biettlot Foundry in France. Signed "BP" under the foundry stamp - this may be the initials of Pierre Biettlot since often European artists put their initials in reverse. Condition is in very good - has a very rich patina and has been very well cared for. Weight is aprox. 6.5 pounds, a very solid heavy work.
