Vintage Illustration by Thornton Oakley

"Experiments with Sound to Improve Broadcasting Are Conducted among Noise-absorbing Hangings"

From a 1945 Magazine

NOTEIf making multiple purchases from my store, please wait for an adjustment to the shipping before paying (for combined shipping discount).

This is an illustration, removed from a vintage magazine.  The article it comes from is titled, "Winning the War of Supply", which has beautiful color illustrations from paintings by Thornton Oakley.  It measures approx 6-3/4" by 10".  In excellent, clean condition.  The red border is not part of the illustration.  There is another Oakley illustration on the reverse side, titled, "In Colossal Stills Vitamin A Is Separated from Shark-liver Oil, Then Tested on White Rats".

I am listing other Oakley illustrations from this magazine, and these would be of interest to a science teacher, a scientist, or someone employed in a technical field.

Will be safely shipped in plastic bag, cardboard layers, and waterproof outer wrapping.

I have many other ads listed on ebay - check my auction and store listings.  I will gladly combine items to save you some of the additional shipping cost.  Additional single illustrations and ads are 50c each for extra shipping, and even less for larger purchases.
