Binding: Very lovely half vellum volume on the representation of the Virgin Mary in the fine arts! With leather spine panel and gilded lettering and design. Gilt top page edges and rough-cut pages. Inner gutter is split, revealing two cords, and part of the endpaper is torn off the board. In very good condition nonetheless, with plenty of illustrations and pages with little wear.
