This is a lot of 2 (two), vintage circa early 1900'sB&W Litho postcards.    These cards are wonderful for their train references and history.  The first card pictures "Horseshoe Curve" of the Pennsylvania Railroad.  Completed in 1854 by the Pennsylvania Railroad, Horseshoe Curve was built as a means of lessening the grade to the summit of the Allegheny Mountains. It is on the National Register of Historic Places and designated as a National Historic Landmark in 1966.  This card has been written on in pencil and dated August 3, 1908, but has not been posted or cancelled. It was published by I.&M. Ottenbelmer, MD. The second card pictures Canon of the Eagle River, Western Colorado:Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. It was issued by the Chamber of Commerce of the Grand Junction, Colorado.  It is unused.  Please use the scans provided to see the images and condition for yourself.
