Not all Indicator Flasher Units are created equal !

Tested on a mini with our lights !

This is a new Flasher / Blinker / Indicator relay that replaces the standard unit when you change to LED units. It corrects flashing too fast and without the need to use a Load resistor for each bulb

  • Fixes fast flashing
  • Plug and play. Simply pull the standard relay out and replace with the standard. (check your car 1st to see if its the correct type)
  • Will work with all LED or all bulbs, or any mix of both LED and standard bulbs (unlike some LED flashers that go "pop" when you have to temporarily fit a bulb !)
  • Can replace two pin flashers with the addition of just an earth connection !

Technical:

  • 3 Pin connector
  • 150w Max
  • 12V 0.02A-15A
  • Universal Part number: CF13 GL-02
  • height and width are 30.5mm
  • length is 40.5 (not counting pins)

We tested seven different flasher units from various manufactures before deciding on this unit.

This one worked when we tested it in the freezer, in the oven and on the car !   The others failed  :-(

You may need two units, one for the flasher unit and one for the hazards..

This unit fits most British classic vehicles such as Austin Morris / Rover

The pinout is visible on the side of the unit

It is a different pinout to the CF13 JL-02

Attempting to fit this flasher to a vehicle that requires a CF13 JL-02 may damage it

Refunds will not be made for damaged units.

Note :  if your car has OBC. If you have an OBC you may get an error message or bulb out light, when replacing your standard bulbs with LED’s. As LED’s only use a fraction of the power compared to standard filament bulbs.

To bypass the OBC and eliminate bulb flashing, error messages and bulb out lights you will need to install resistors. These are available from our shop, we also offer No Error LED’s with built in resistors.

Try these steps to find out if you have an OBC

1. Pull out the bulb you are going to replace.

2. Check to see if you get an Error Message or bulb out warning light on your dash-board.

3. If you do get a message/light you will need to install ballast resistors to suppress the error.
