Shenango China Restaurant Ware Cup & Saucer with University Club of Portland, Est 1898 logo, a Green Oval and the letters U and C overlapped in the center. The edge of both pieces has an olive green band. There is a band of dark green leaves around each piece.
The Cup is 2 1/4" high at the rim and 3 3/4" in diameter. The Saucer is 6 1/8" in diameter and 1 1/8" high at the rim. There are no cracks or chips. The bottom of the pieces is marked with the Shenango Indian under Shenango China in a semi circle, New Castle, PA, U.S.A., Anchor Hocking, Z-40. This logo was used in the 1979 - 1987. The date code indicates the pieces were made in the first half of 1982.
The Cup and Saucer are in Very Good Condition and would be a great addition to your restaurant ware collection.
