In the 2001 racing season Ferrari's new F2001 machine would capture the Constructors' and Drivers' Championships equipped with the longitudinally mounted 3000 Ferrari Tipo 050 V10 engine incorporating an electro-hydraulic 7-speed gearbox in pre-machined welded titanium. After the ban was lifted on traction control, launch control and other high-tech devices at the 5th race in Spain, the F2001 was finished with an arsenal of new equipment to further outclass rivals. By the 13th race Schumacher had already clutched the championship with 9 wins, earning him 53 total wins in his career, as he became the most successful F1 driver of all time and the Ferrari F2001 the undisputed top machine in F1 history.

- 90deg longitudinally mounted V10 engine depicted down to every last detail.
- Realism of cockpit enhanced with separately molded parts for seat belt.
- Model captures the intricacy of the F2001 machine's diffuser.
- Fuel intake cover can be assembled in the opened or closed position. Fuel intake valves reproduced with metal transfer marks.
- Grooved tires come with logo pre-printed on sides.
- Heat resistant rear wing and rear suspension arm of the actual Ferrari F2001 are recreated in this kit with aluminum stickers.
- Decals provided for recreation of car numbers 1 and 2.

1/20 Cars Grand Prix Collection
The world of F1 is brought to life in 1/20 scale in Tamiya's 1/20 Grand Prix Collection.
The range represents some of the most interesting racing cars from the pinnacle of motorsport over the last four decades. These include the early Lotus and Honda race cars of the 1960's, the ground breaking Six-wheel Tyrell of the 1970's, Schumacher's famous Ferrari F2001 and of course the Tamiya Sponsored Lotus 107B Ford.
Emphasis as with all Tamiya Items is on detail. Models are accurately reproduced and feature high quality scale reproduction of each cars interior, engine, suspension and bodywork. The cars feature rubber tyres and even the cowling and fairing can be removed to display this details once constructed.
These models highlight Tamiya's love of and heritage in F1.
As with all Tamiya items, instructions are clear and concise, which allows the modeller to build a 1/20 scale F1 car with ease.

Returns
Unwanted - Not Wanted
An unwanted product can be returned for a full refund within 30 days of delivery as long as it’s still in its original, unopened packaging.
In accordance with your rights when you purchase goods online, unwanted items can be returned even if you have opened them for inspection as long as you let us know within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery. You can examine the goods as you would in a shop but to obtain a full refund you must not use them. The goods must be returned in ‘as new’ condition and in their original packaging. The packaging must not be ripped or damaged or we reserve the right to refuse the return.
Returns and exchanges can only be processed with proof of purchase. Please provide your order number and full address when you return a product.
We are not liable for return shipping costs for unwanted item returns.
Faulty/Damaged
If you have received a damaged or faulty item from us you can return it for a repair, replacement or refund.
If the item is faulty or damaged we will cover the costs of the return shipping, please contact us for your free returns label.
Please make it clear what the issue is on our returns paperwork, as some minor issues may not be very clear to our returns department.
Please note that some manufacturers prefer to deal with faulty items themselves, thus it may be possible that returns are sent directly to the manufacturer. Please do not see this as us trying to avoid your return, its simply the manufacturer giving an easier and quicker way to get a replacement/repaired product back to you.
Incorrect
An item received incorrectly can be returned for a refund or replacement. Please make it clear on the returns paperwork which action you would like us to take.
