Second edition of 1847 of this interesting work of neoguelfo contain written by Leopoldo Galeotti (1813-1884)politician born in Pescia.
Fried of D'Azeglio, he had an important role in the riot of 17th of April 1859 who caused the leaving of Great Duke.
Galeotti describes the temporal sovranity and governemnt disorder of States of Church.
Between the issues treated: History, Critical examination of present conditions of temporal Government of Church, Reasons of insurrections, Need to repair to the government disorder of Church, The most powerful mediums to reform the Pope Government, Comune power, Councils of Provincia, right of petition, Central congregation etc...

Seconda edizione del 1847 di questa interessante opera di contenuto neoguelfo scritta da Leopoldo Galeotti (1813-1884)uomo politico nato a Pescia.
Amico del D'Azeglio, ebbe un importante ruolo nel moto del 17 Aprile 1859 che portò alla partenza del Granduca.
Galeotti descrive la sovranità temporale e il disordine governativo degli Stati della Chiesa.
Tra gli argomenti trattati: Indagine storica, Esame critico della attuali condizioni del Governo temporale della Santa Sede, Ragioni di insurrezione, Necessità di riparare al disordine governativo degli Stati della Chiesa, I mezzi più efficaci per riformare il governo Pontificio, Potere comunale, Consigli provinciali, diritto di petizione, Congregazione centrale ecc...
