Description

KnuKonceptz Bassik Battery Terminal -

KnuKonceptz has engineered a simple design with a vast number of installation options available to the installer. The Bassik Battery Terminal uses button head screws for a low profile to fasten ring terminals of all types and gauges onto your battery! Up to 5, yes 5! (even 1/0 gauge) ring terminals can be secured using the Bassik Battery Terminal! Oh, so you prefer set screw ring terminals? Ok, it does that too! Three set screw ring terminals are easily accommodated. All these options are pleasantly hidden by the insulated color coded cover. .

Like all automotive battery terminals, the BK-BT are made to SAE specifications, which means that the positive and negative terminals are machined to different diameters. This is a reverse polarity safety feature so that installers can not tighten a negative terminal onto a positive battery post and cause serious damaged to vehicle electronics.

Simple Ring Terminals Connectivity

Why be limited to pre-drilled battery terminals? The Bassik terminal allows you to connect ANY gauge wire to you battery. Up to 5 crimp type terminals can be oriented safely on each terminal. Want to use KnuKonceptz Set Screw Terminals? Up to three neatly fit onto the Bassik Battery Terminal.

OEM Integration

Installing battery terminals into your car often can be daunting task because the OEM battery terminal normally needs to be cut off. For a car that is leased, that could be a big issue. Using the Bassik Battery Terminal and our top post adapter (sold separately), you can now take your factory battery cable and mount it directly onto the BK-BT.

Installation is simple, remove one of the side mounted pan head screws from the BK-BT(using the top mounted screw is OK too if you have clearance of the hood). Install the optional top post adapter, place the factory (OEM) battery terminal onto the top post adapter and tighten all screws. **Unfortunately the insulated cover can not be used with the top post adapter with out modification to the cover.

Product FAQ

Q: How is wire secured to this battery terminal?
A: Cables are secured using crimp ring terminals (up to 5 can be oriented onto this terminal) or set screw terminals (up to 3) can be used. Please note additional hardware maybe required if using terminals other than KnuKonceptz  Set Screw terminals
Q: Is there a difference between the Positive and Negative top post terminals?
A: Yes, the Negative top post terminal's opening is smaller in diameter so that it can not be mounted on the positive battery post and cause a reverse in polarity within the vehicle..
Q: Can I connect 2 Gauge wire with these terminals?
A: Any gauge wire can be connected to this terminal, which makes it extremely flexible
