This listing is for a lovely antique Sterling Silver dance/coin purse with compact. 

The exterior of the case has a beautiful engraved Sterling Silver body with floral and scroll design. Center cartouche engraved with fancy 3-letter monogram "R.L.G.". The interior is fitted with two coin holders (one for nickels and one for dimes) with a make-up mirror compartment on one side. The other side of the interior has a hinged support bar for card, money or powder puff. 

The decorative support is marked "Sterling, 1232" with maker's trademark stamp "JEB Co.". The James E. Blake Co. of Attleboro MA was in business from 1880-1936.

 The silver is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minimal signs of wear. The hinge is in excellent condition and opens and closes correctly.

 Purse has an attached 11" chain for carrying which gives a 5 1/2" drop.

 The compact/purse measures 1/2" deep, 3 3/4" long and 2 1/2" wide. Weighs 104 grams.
