A Tibetan Thangka is a painting of a sacred image or deity on cloth (usually canvas or silk). The delicate, detailed imagery is hung in meditation centers, personal ritual spaces, and even yoga classrooms - anywhere we would like to remind ourselves of the Divine. These richly colored paintings are intended to bring the essence of Spirit into our homes and sacred spaces.

AMITAYAS

Amitayas, the abbot of the Wester Pure Land, is an incarnation of Tathagata.

Amitabha, the Buddha of Infinite Life, is represented here in his traditional iconography. He sits in the diamond posture, with both hands flat in the contemplation gesture, holding a vase of elixir of immortality with a stylized "tree of life" on top of it.

Amitayas Buddha is coiled hair and one his head is a crown of five Buddhas. He wears celestial clothes and silk shkirt. His two hands lie on his leg with fingers interlocked. On his hands is a longevity nectar vessel.He looks very dignity and kindly. Of the followers often chant his incantation, they can live longer and achieve true happiness.
