52mm Professional Petal Lens Hood

Great quality screw-in petal lens hood. A petal lens hood is far more effective than a standard hood as it offers more shade at the top and bottom of the lens whilst preventing vignetting at the side. It also incorporates a locking ring to prevent the hood turning or coming off accidentally. Anti-reflective to reduce flare. This lens hood will screw onto any lens with a 52mm filter thread. Using a lens hood will greatly reduce the risk of flare and low contrast photos. Suitable for film, video and digital cameras.

"Is this hood suitable for my lens?"

Probably. This hood is designed to work on lenses with focal lengths from 16mm upwards on normal crop sensor DSLRs (e.g. Canon 550D, 60D, Nikon D90, D5000 etc). So, if you have a standard zoom such as 18-55mm, 18-150mm or 18-200mm etc this hood will work perfectly.

It will also work on lenses with focal lengths of 24mm upwards on film cameras and full frame DSLR cameras such as the Canon 5D and Nikon D700.
