This gear shift knob is a direct screw-on replacement for 1988-2009 automatic transmission XJ6, XJ8, XJR, Vanden Plas/Super V8, S-Type & X-Type sedans, XJS 1991, 1994-96, XK8 1997-2006, XK 2007-2008, XKR 2000-2008. 

In short, if you have a 1988 or later automatic transmission Jaguar that uses the traditional knob, then yes -- it will fit :)

I am amazed at the quality of the knob and the key fob. They truly are works of art to be treasured. I am a bit afraid to used the key fob as I might get it scratched a bit.

The contours of the knob truly make for a "fits like a glove" feeling. Actually better than the factory knob. Ones' hand just falls into place around the curves you instituted.

The new wood trim/ski slope for the XJS that you made for me about 15 years ago still looks like new by the way.

Looking forward to getting the new gear knob. I’ve been working on the old car for about a month on and off fixing all sorts of bits and bobs so the new knob is my present to myself.

I just wanted to let you know I got my gear shift knob and it is more than beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   It just makes my older car.  I had to have the car detailed yesterday to match the knob !!!!!!!!!  Thanks so much for the beautiful work of art !!!

I once ordered from the Canadian supplier, but the quality was not as high as yours (especially after I compared it in person with the one I purchased from you).  The craftsmanship of your work is of the highest order.  Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference in eBay photos, but when you compare the actual work, there's a tremendous difference. 

For example, the lacquer on the Canadian item seemed to have fine dust particles suspended in it.  This was particularly noticeable under lights or in sunshine.  Also, the "leaper" badge was not centered in its cavity and the cavity into which the badge was embedded was much larger than the badge itself, leaving a lot of unsightly space around it.  Your badge fits right on the money, with no extra spaces anywhere.  The lacquer is also perfectly clear.
