Jerry Welbach (Brad Pitt) is in a dilemma. His mafia boss has ordered him to go to Mexico and collect a priceless antique pistol called 'The Mexican', while his girlfriend Samantha (Julia Roberts) has demanded that he finish his association with the mafia altogether. What should he do?
