Hozelock Vorton 11 UVC - New Style

The Hozelock Vorton 11 ultra violet clarifier (UVC) continues to form a key element of a Clearwater system.

The algae, causing green water, are made to clump together (flocculate) by the UV light so that they can be sieved out of the water by the filter.

The Hozelock Vorton UVC has a unique design which turbulates the water, enabling increased efficiency by a more even exposure of the water to the UV light, and also eliminates the possibility of airlocks.

As the pond water passes the UV lamp, the light makes the algae clump together so they are caught in the filter foam or sink to the bottom of the pond.

You should see an improvement in days and achieve complete clarity in 6 to 8 weeks.

The Vorton 11 comes with 5 metres of cable and is easy to install / maintain.
