Welcome to Antiques & Moore!

This listing is for a pretty Wave Crest opal glass pin dish.

Measures 1 1/2" high with a top diameter of 3".

Opal Ware glass was at the height of its popularity from 1890 to 1910 and much of the opal glass known as Wave Crest was produced by the Mount Washington Glass Company and purchased by the C. F. Monroe Co. as undecorated glass blanks to be decorated by the artists employed there.

This attractive little pin dish has a nice swirl embossed design in the mold with delicate hand painted design consisting of lavender and white flowers.   Although the glass is unmarked, it is most certainly Wave Crest. The paint is in great condition and not worn. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to the glass.  Fitted brass banded top, in good condition.
