French / Bronze Medal 'Edit de Nantes' by Prud'homme (1898)


Very scarce medal for the commemoration of the tercentenary of the Edict of Nantes, issued in 1598 by Henry IV of France (1553-1610). The edict granted the Calvinist Protestants of France (also known as Huguenots) substantial rights.
