COCA-COLA COLLECTORS' CANE HORN HANDLE
cane not made by me - found at estate sale
age unknown to me [appears to be early 1900's?]
functional at 175+ lb rating
measures 37" long
has combo metal/rubber tip
collar and furrel are nonferris
I'm pretty sure collar is silver & furrel is copper [hard to tell under all the pitina]
metal furrel has rubber foot to cover for combo operation
I'm sure the staft is HICKORY--as I'm familliar with this wood in my own shop
the coca-cola gtraphic is embedded in the hickory shaft--and still retains good color
HORN handle is tightly attached
cane is 98 to 99% straight
As a stick-maker myself. . . My guess is that the cane is special made ~ Perhaps for some milestone event??
There may be others like it--but I've been unable to find any on the net?
there are no I.D. marks on the cane
Note I've not done any cleaning on the cane. . . thought it be best to just leave-as-found.
