Really cute antique Victorian silver plated miniature plateau perfume tray, circa 1880-1990. Eye shaped oval looks like a handle-less serving tray, complete with an ornate gadrooned edge and four neatly detailed ball and claw feet. Talon looking feet connect to the base with the help of a "Y" shaped housing. We believe it was designed to be a perfume holder as it is of relatively small proportions. Completely unmarked, unsigned.
Piece measures 6 3/8" long x 4 5/8" wide and stands 1" high.
Very good, lightly used, antique condition. Normal wear and tear to the plated finish over copper with scratching and faint stains around the inside edge. No dents, dings, or significant nicks. Sturdy piece. Very detailed edge and feet are superb. Overall 9/10.
