AUSTRALIAN COMMONWEALTH INFANTRY BOOTS
**ALL BOOTS HAVE HOBNAILS & HEEL PLATES**
A pair of reproduction AIF brown leather boots with laces, leather sole, Steel U plates on heels nailed on (not screwed as you see with cheaper copies,) as issued from 1914 till 1943
These boots would also suit Imperial Japanese Army & Navy as they purchased a large qty in the First World War & copied them.
Made by my bootmakers as detailed by me (a reenactor) for reenactors, made to last, I wear these as does my son, 6 years and still going strong on the same pairs without any issues.
Soles are stitched to the uppers and nailed, these are very comfortable to wear providing you have a good quality pair of socks on, good for field use, great for parade & marching. The flat sole models Will take hobnails if you want to add them yourself. Laces are made from the same leather as the uppers but if you want a pair of genuine Aussie "skippy" laces I can add a pair for $10, just advise me when you purchase before payment please.

Unlike poor quality made items these are not painted brown, they are as close as possible to the original items as worn during the war.

Disclaimer: Pictures of all items are used, in many cases I have multiple's of the same item, as many used items are not always exactly the same the pictures should be viewed to be an example of what is available only, with some items older models of new items may be available at any given time due to stock replenishing as suppliers do not always rotate their items. This is also the case with camouflage clothing as some batches are darker or lighter than others, where possible if different sizes are ordered I will send matched colours together.
