A triple bill of horror films. In 'Thirteen Ghosts' (2001), after his rich and crazy Uncle Cyrus is lost in a bizarre ghost-capturing incident, Arthur Kriticos is pleased and surprised to inherit Cyrus' house. He is even more surprised - and somewhat less pleased - when he actually visits the house and discovers it to be a giant glass and clockwork machine designed to hold twelve of the ghosts Cyrus has collected. When the ghosts are then unwittingly released, Arthur must struggle to uncover the secret behind Cyrus' plan - a plan which will, if successful, turn Arthur himself into the thirteenth ghost. In 'Darkness Falls' (2003) Matilda Dixon was well known to the local children of the 1850s New England town called Darkness Falls for paying them for teeth that they lost. When two children disappeared, Matilda was blamed for the mystery and was lynched by an angry mob. In 2002, Kyle Walsh (Chaney Kley), former Darkness Falls resident now living in Las Vegas, is still haunted by the experience of meeting the ghost of Matilda. When his childhood friend Caitlin (Emma Caulfield) tells him that her brother Michael (Lee Cormie) is having the same nightmares that Kyle once suffered, Kyle agrees to return to Darkness Falls to end the nightmares. Finally, 'Night of the Living Dead' (1990) is celebrated special-effects artist Tom Savini's ('Friday the 13th') remake of George A. Romero's horror classic. The story is the same - a group of strangers fight for survival when they are trapped together in farmhouse surrounded by an army of flesh-eating zombies - but the effects are much more gruesome.
