Martial arts drama written, produced and directed by Kar Wai Wong. Wing Chun grandmaster Ip Man (Tony Chiu Wai Leung) travelled from Foshan in China to Hong Kong after the Sino-Japanese War where he progressed within his martial art and took on his rival Gong Yutian (Qingxiang Wang).
