Beschaffenheit

Anilinleder ist ein mit löslichen, transparenten Farbstoffen im Ledergerbtrommel durchgefärbtes Leder. Es handelt sich um Glattleder ohne Pigmentschicht  auf der Oberfläche, und das die natürliche Beschaffenheit des Hautmaterials erkennen lässt.

Aus diesem Grund kann man für Anilinleder nur absolut makellose Häute verwenden. Es ist in der Regel dementsprechend teuer.
