The Manta fins use a channel type of blade that has a mix of rigid and flexible materials that allows the blade to flex and create a U shaped channel that cups and controls the water that flows down the blade to achieve higher propulsion and efficiency levels. Robust side reinforcing blades help to control the blade flexibility and spring as well as preventing energy-wasting flapping of the fin. The full foot pocket provides a comfortable but secure fit to ensure even transfer of energy from the leg to the fin. The side reinforcing bars are moulded directly into the foot pocket to prevent splitting of separate components. The rubber material is very soft and smooth in all corners and on all edges to reduce possible soreness points. A grip tab on the back of the foot pocket helps to make the fin easier to get on and off.
